Featured Project - Sutton's Sportswear

Situation: Sutton’s Sportswear wanted to be able to provide their corporate clients with custom stores for customers, branches and marketing departments could go to order branded sportswear. Sutton’s knew that being able to provide individual branded stores would provide additional sales of logo wear which would strengthen their client’s corporate brand awareness while providing additional sales of products for Sutton’s. Sutton's had pioneered the concept with a single client but due to the difficulty in setting up individual shopping carts for each client and then maintain these disparate systems quickly became a nightmare of growing proportion. With several large national customers signing on to the program, Sutton’s knew its initial plan was not going to work and would quickly cause ill will and likely lost business rather than better customer service and increases in business.

Solution: NSNA provided a solution derived from a strategy created for a printer where previously ordered products could be viewed and reordered. An extensive adaption of this concept allowed us to engineer a tool that would allow Sutton’s to create branded shopping carts on the fly by entering in just a few custom fields specific to each client. These shopping carts could then be branded easily by Sutton’s graphic artists to provide sites that mirrored or complemented the client's original sites. Products purchased from the cart are uploaded to the Sutton’s CRM system in near real time for processing and fulfillment of the orders. As a customization to the original application, NSNA also designed an elaborate Ebate/Rebate card system that could be used by the client companies to further promote their products and provide additional options to their customer service personnel.
